The Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) is designed and maintained in the Department of Peace and Conflict Research in the Uppsala University, and sponsored by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). The conflict database is a free of charge resource. It collects information on armed conflicts in the world following the definitions used by the Uppsala Conflict Data Program. The database includes 119 armed conflicts from 1989 to 2004. The database is updated for the last year's major armed conflicts around February each year; for minor armed conflicts in June each year. |
